Privacy Policy

KaidoTrainer is made by Onuska Brown Technologies Ltd. ("we," "us"). This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what your choices are. Short version: we collect only what we need to keep you updated and to hold your reservation, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

• Waitlist and demo access. When you join the waitlist or unlock the browser demo, you give us your email address and country. This is stored with our form provider (Netlify) and used to send you launch and newsletter updates. We periodically add waitlist emails to our newsletter, which is delivered by Substack.
• $1 reservations. Reservations are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details and billing address, including country. We never see or store your full card number. We receive your email, the amount, and your billing country so we can manage your reservation and any refund.
• Ask Kaido chatbot. Questions you type, and Kaido's answers, are logged so we can improve our FAQ. To generate an answer, your question is sent to Anthropic, the AI provider. Please don't type personal information into the chat. To prevent abuse we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for rate limiting only; we do not store raw IP addresses.
• Hosting logs. Our host, Netlify, may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operations.
• Cookies and analytics. We do not currently run tracking or advertising cookies. If we enable analytics in the future (for example, the Meta Pixel), we will update this page and ask for your consent where required. The site uses small browser-storage items to remember simple things, like whether you've already unlocked the demo.

How we use it

To send you updates you asked for, to manage reservations and refunds, to improve the site and Kaido's answers, and to keep the site secure. That's it.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the site, and only what each one needs: Netlify (hosting and forms), Stripe (payments), Substack (newsletter), and Anthropic (chatbot answers). We do not sell or rent your information.

How long we keep it

Waitlist information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Reservation records for as long as needed to handle payments and refunds and to meet our legal obligations.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email ian@onuskabrown.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

KaidoTrainer is designed for ages 8 and up, but this website's waitlist and reservations are for adults. The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the update here with a new date.
