KaidoTrainer Dev Kit — Early Access Prototype
$500 · Limited to 20 units
This is not a finished product. This dev kit is for supporters who see the educational and hands-on learning potential of KaidoTrainer and want to help make it a reality. You're backing a prototype in active development — not buying a polished consumer device.
The device: A 3D-printed PETG enclosure housing a Raspberry Pi 4, 3.5" display, Pi Camera, and custom game pad. It's functional, not polished — this is the same hardware our team uses to develop and test. Wall-powered via USB-C.
The game: A demo roughly one hour long, featuring 9 circuit-building challenges with a pixel art RPG world. You build real circuits on a breadboard, the camera validates them, and the game responds. The full game with multiple regions and a complete story is in development.
The computer vision: Our prototype detection model identifies electronic components on the breadboard. At this stage it detects component placement only — it does not validate wiring, orientation, or full circuit correctness. That's coming.
Why it matters: There is nothing else like this. No other product lets a kid build a real circuit with real components and have a game world respond to what they built. If you believe hands-on learning through play is the future of STEM education, this is your chance to help it exist.
What you're supporting: Every dev kit sold directly funds hiring an indie game developer to build the full game. No investors. No middlemen. Just people who believe in this backing it directly.
What you get in return: Priority access to the final production unit, direct input into the product, and the knowledge that you helped make it real.
Each unit is hand-assembled and tested. Please allow 4-6 weeks for shipping.
